Let’s Believe! Our prayers are not dead but asleep!!

Yesterday, I was preaching in one of our area fellowship meeting, God gave me a word to strengthen the believers to make them believe on things which are dead. In our life, many of our prayers are dead and having no answers, for me, for about 2 years I am struck in conducting our bible school ministries, financial crisis, facility problems, student hunt, time limitations, faculty needs, I was praying and praying, no answer, today morning when I pray, God reminded my yesterday’s message and strengthened me, so I do hope it will surely strengthen you.

Jesus’ healed a demon possessed man at Gerasenes. Then he crossed the lake on the other side perhaps Capernaum, a synagogue ruler, named Jairus had fell on his feet and pleaded earnestly to put Lord’s hand on his dying little daughter. Jesus accepted his request and went with him. On the way a woman with bleeding touched his clock and the power of God released from him and immediately the bleeding stopped and she was freed. While Jesus was talking with this lady, someone from the house of Jairus came and said not to bother the teacher because it is of no use, the daughter is dead. But Jesus said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid, just believe,” then he went to Jairus’s house and proclaimed to the crying and wailing people, “the child is not dead but asleep” they laughed at him. Jesus entered into the room where the child was and said, “Talitha koum!” which means, “little girl, I say to you, get up!” Immediately she stood up and walked around.

This incident, taught me three lessons, one is, “If I request for my need my Lord will surely follow me to answer my prayer” second is, “Even when I heard negatively on the things I pray, I should not give up my belief because he is on the way to settle my need”, thirdly, “Even my prayer need become dead I should believe it is asleep, because Jesus is in control on the needs I pray”.

With these words I would like to encourage you all, don’t give up your prayers, because he is on the way, and he is in control on it. I too prayed this morning,” yes Lord, I believe, if you are the one started our ministries nothing is going to die, if something seems to be dead, it is just asleep, because you are in control of that. I know it is going to stood up and walk around.

Thanks to all friends who been supporting us in prayers, I am in deep conviction that, before the end of this year, God is going to revive the bible school ministries, to train men and women in mission which our father’s did, my prayers are to make a revival to the nation by the gross root training we are planning to conduct across the nation. I urge all your prayers and supports, soon we are launching our website for this ministry, keep us in your prayers, hold the hands let’s together to accomplish the mission of the Lord.
